KMRDC will be presenting excerpts of our current repertoire as guest artists for the Hagerstown Community Dance Department.
Orchesis Spring Dance Concert
KMRDC will be presenting excerpts from SHE IS ART as well as new company member choreography alongside the student work from Wilson College and other local dancers.
SHE IS ART
KMRDC will present their first company dance concert, SHE IS ART, a choreographic exploration of the contemporary female, at the Hagerstown Community College Kepler Blackbox.
Built through a deeply collaborative process, SHE IS ART is a choreographic representation of shared female narrative, experience, and connection. This modern dance concert aims to examine the roles and relationships women fill and/or experience within our society through multiple female lenses.
A few notes regarding our performance…
The content of SHE IS ART is most suitable for young people 12 and over.
If you choose to donate, cash is preferred at this time. Checks must be made payable to Kelsy Rupp.
We will have a limited number of KMRDC t-shirts for sale, $35 cash preferred
ALL DONATIONS AND T-SHIRT PROFITS WILL BE GOING DIRECTLY TO PRODUCTION COSTS AND THE DANCERS’ SALARY FOR THIS PERFORMANCE.
